The Equestrian Centre

A sophisticated facility thoughtfully designed to meet every need of both horse and rider.

This extraordinary facility was originally created to house the largest stable of Lippitt Morgan horses in British Columbia, at one point over numbering over 60 horses. The well-designed layout is efficient and purposeful.

Just a short walk from the Main House, through a tranquil grove of trees past the Wrangler’s Cottage, a hay barn, and the chicken coop is homebase for all equine activities and adventures.

A grand covered entry welcomes you to the very sophisticated Barn. Huge barn doors slide open at either end of a wide central hall. To your left you find the luxurious rider’s lounge with a well-appointed kitchen, and a full bathroom, across from a tack room and feed storage.  The bright open stable has 8 stalls, 4 open bays, and a wash bay at one end. The 4 stalls on the north side, including 2 large foaling stalls open to fenced paddocks.

To the south of the barn are 10 large, fenced paddocks with turnout shelters and automatic waterers. Just east of the barn are the large hay barn and shops. A 60-foot round pen is set in quiet treed spot to the side. The full-size indoor arena is an advanced structure, built to last through the seasons with extremely heavy steel truss construction and a sprinkler system to keep dust down.

The brilliantly appointed two-bedroom Wrangler’s Cottage provides a calm and welcoming refuge for horse loving guests just steps from the barn and paddocks.

Like the rest of the property, this collection of structures are built to the absolute highest standard.
